Filing a Notice
If you believe that content on SmartNook infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent at contact@smartnook.site that includes the following:
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
A description of the material on our website that you believe is infringing, along with enough information for us to locate it, such as the page address.
Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.
Response to Notices
Upon receiving a notice that meets these requirements, we will review it and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the material in question. We may also notify the person who posted the material.
Counter-Notices
If you believe material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent. A counter-notice should include your name, address, telephone number, and email address, identification of the material removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
Repeat Infringers
SmartNook may terminate access to the website for users who are found to be repeat infringers.
